Airport pick-up, welcome briefing, gear check and overnight at your Arusha lodge.
Drive to the western side of the mountain and trek through lush rainforest alive with colobus monkeys.
Emerge from the forest onto moorland with your first dramatic views of Kibo peak across the Shira Plateau.
A key acclimatization day: climb high to the 4,600m Lava Tower, then sleep low in the spectacular Barranco Valley.
Scramble up the famous Barranco Wall — easier than it looks, and the views are unforgettable.
A short trek to base camp. Early dinner and rest before the midnight summit push.
Depart at midnight, watch the sunrise from Stella Point and stand on Uhuru Peak — the Roof of Africa. Long descent to Mweka.
Final descent through the rainforest, summit certificates, celebration lunch and transfer back to Arusha.
