Nestled in northern Tanzania, Tarangire National Park is a captivating safari destination known for its diverse wildlife, unique landscapes and tranquil atmosphere. Covering approximately 2,850 square kilometers, it is the country's sixth-largest national park.
Tarangire is famous for its iconic baobab trees and exceptional game viewing — especially in the dry season, when vast herds of elephants gather along the Tarangire River. Lions, giraffes and migratory wildebeest and zebra share the park with over 550 recorded bird species, making it a birdwatcher's paradise.
